Commercial Pellet Mill Working Principle
1. Raw Material Preparation: The raw material is crushed to a suitable particle size, and the moisture content is adjusted as required (usually 10%-18%).
2. Feeding and Mixing: The feeding auger delivers the raw material into the mixing mechanism, where the mixing rods stir and push the material.
3. Granulation: The conditioned raw material enters the granulation chamber, is carried by the ring die between the pressure roller and the ring die, and is extruded outward through the ring die holes to form granules.
4. Cutting and Cooling: Once the granules reach a certain length, the cutting device cuts them into smaller granules of equal length.
