How to Choose a Palletizing Machine

Dec 10, 2025

Applicable Scenarios and Material Characteristics
Material Type: Select a suitable gripper mechanism (such as claws or suction cups) based on the shape, weight, and material of the items to be palletized (e.g., bags, boxes, barrels).
Industry Requirements: Industries like food and pharmaceuticals require compliance with hygiene standards (e.g., stainless steel material); chemical and heavy industries demand high load capacity and durability.

Equipment Type and Efficiency
Various mainstream palletizer types have their own advantages and should be chosen based on efficiency and space requirements:
Robot Palletizer: Highly flexible and programmable, suitable for multi-product, small-batch production.
Gantry Palletizer: High load capacity (up to several tons), stable, suitable for high-speed palletizing of heavy or large-size items.
Column Palletizer: Compact structure, small footprint, ideal for production lines with limited space.
Fully Automatic Palletizer: Integrates visual recognition and intelligent control to achieve unmanned operation, best for standardized, large-batch scenarios.

Key Performance Parameters
Load Capacity: Must exceed the weight of the heaviest single item and include a safety margin (recommended ≥20%).
Palletizing Accuracy: High-precision equipment prevents tilt or collapse, especially important for fragile items or tall stacks.
Operating Speed: Choose according to the production line rhythm, e.g., 100-500 stacks per hour.
